At Memorial, we have the ability to impact so many people – locally, nationally, and globally – through our time, treasurers, and talents. Through Jesus Christ, your support of Memorial helps us to realize dreams bigger than each of us can accomplish individually.
- All gifts are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
- Gift acknowledgements are mailed to donors quarterly.
- Gifts are most often directed by the donor to Memorial’s operating fund. In some cases, donors designate funds to be used for a specific ministry, capital, or mission program.
- Memorials, honoraria, and other special gifts may be made in tribute or as an indication of gratitude for a blessing received.
How can I give to Memorial?
By giving online. It's easy to start, change, or stop. If you are interested in making any one-time or reoccurring gifts online, click here.
By cash or check: You can prayerfully offer your gifts during every Sunday morning service. If you can’t join us on Sunday, checks may also be mailed to the church.
By text. You can text your gift to 301-685-0787.
Using your bank’s bill-pay feature. Please visit your bank’s website to learn how to set up Memorial as a payee, and to set up your giving on a one-time or recurring basis to Memorial.
Through your will or other estate plan. A charitable gift can be given to Memorial through your will or other estate plans.
Through planned giving of stocks, bonds, and other equity instruments. Memorial is blessed to have an Endowment Fund, which allows our church members to give a gift that keeps giving long into the future.
Personal property (in-kind gifts). We gratefully accept gifts-in-kind that we can truly use. Please contact the Church Office (301-349-2010) to discuss any possible gift-in-kind donations. We will then determine if and how we can use the items, and if you need assistance in having the items picked up or if you'll drop them off yourself.
