Pastor Bill Maisch was appointed
by Bishop Marcus Matthews of the Baltimore Washington Conference to
Poolesville Memorial UMC on April 1, 2013.
Pastor Bill earned his master of divinity from Wesley Theological Seminary in Washington, DC after a 25-year career as a combat pilot and flight instructor in the U.S. Air Force. He has been extremely active in Christian, ecumenical, and multifamily ministries his whole adult life before completing his degree.
Pastor Bill is married to Jill. Together they have six young adult children, five daughters and a son. Jill is a 7th grade science teacher at Rocky Hill Middle School in Clarksburg. Bill enjoys bicycling, swimming, and learning, and both he and Jill are accomplished martial arts masters. Bill earned his undergraduate degree in chemistry and physics at the University of Mississippi and a master's degree at the University of Central Michigan.
